The artist from Russia writes fantasy landscapes based on the cult trilogy “The Lord of the Rings”

Many films and books written in the fantasy genre become the key factors that encourage us to start creating and developing a creative spirit. The same happened with Artyom Chebokha, who works under the pseudonym RHADS. After viewing the cult trilogy “The Lord of the Rings”, the artist realized that he was attracted to uncharted worlds that lie in his head and are limited only by fantasy.

Artyom’s paintings breathe space and freedom, and it is not surprising, because most of them are clouds: light and dark, azure and purple, girded by sunlight and glare of the setting blood-red disk. After all, it is in the heavenly heights, in the opinion of the author himself, that the most interesting happens, and it is there that two realities collide – the real and the fantasy.

In his works, Cheboch combines two basic styles – traditional and digital. He, of course, does not disclose secrets, preferring to show the world more and more new works that are imbued with his special energy and style. Why are only flying sky rays, hovering above the clouds, and even flying whales, dissecting the azure cloud waves to the surprised cries of people on the ship. Heaven is a kind of limitless space, which in the hands of a skilled artist turns into both an immense ocean and forest jungle with giant trees that have human faces.

The sky is, first of all, the perspective, the dynamics and the absence of borders. Carefully choosing colors and brushes, the author allows you to see everything from new perspectives, both existing places in real life and those that were born in the fantasy creator. Endless cobbled roads that lead somewhere beyond the horizon, the statue of Christ the Redeemer, which opened its arms over Rio de Janeiro, a passenger liner flying up and even Harley Devidson roaring at a speed, receding into the distance and creating a feeling of lightness and a certain freedom.

The highlight of the work of this author is the lack of borders of the drawn picture. It is always nature, meadows and fields, green forests and sun-scorched American canyons. Or mythical motifs in the form of the famous Pegasus floating in the air on its bird wings and other characters that are created by the fantasy of Chebokhi himself, closely intertwining with reality. Indeed, in each of his paintings you can find your own, special message – you don’t need to be afraid to take a step, which will lead to the realization of a dream, even if you have to go through a thorny and long path that doesn’t see the end of it.

In the world nothing is impossible, especially when it comes to art. One has only to want and you can learn anything. Incredibly realistic landscapes created by a Japanese teacher – an example confirming the above words.
