The artist from St. Petersburg draws naive tales from which it gets warmer in her soul.

On the eve of the coming holidays, both children and adults want to get in touch with miracles, plunge into the world of good fairy tales, get a lot of emotions and recharge themselves with positive energy. Delightful fabulous paintings in the style of fantasy by a young artist from St. Petersburg, Nadezhda Ilyina, fully correspond to the pre-holiday mood.

The heroes of the artist are unusual fairy-tale characters, sometimes with unusual funny faces. They are cute and sweet, slightly naive, but kind-hearted and pure in their thoughts. And in whatever environment Hope places them, they emit light and heat everywhere, causing a warm smile in each of us. Their world is wonderful and fantastic. And we unwittingly become witnesses of their dreams and experiences, pleasures and bliss.

Nadezhda Ilyina calls herself Art-Chef, because she believes that: “as in the art of cooking, the chef seasoning dishes with spices for an unusual bright taste, the artist adds emotions in painting, which create food for the soul.”

And the artist found for herself this amazing seasoning – a fantasy style that can give a taste of nostalgia, and trembling, and tenderness, and simple human joy to all that the artist’s brush touches. This became the author’s handwriting by Ilina, in which she has been working since 2006.

The master painter writes her works in oil without adding white. The whiteness of the canvas itself is enough for it, since it uses a very thin, almost transparent layer of paint, which makes it possible to show the texture of the canvas itself. The artist often uses cold color. And as a contrast, it prescribe on the background either a small ray, or a spark, or a flashlight, which are able to illuminate the hero’s face, spiritualize it, warm the soul.

In addition, the artist believes, and not without reason, that the grief and suffering depicted on the canvas, you can seriously get sick. Therefore, he writes positive emotions in his paintings. And if one of her characters suddenly becomes sad, then she will surely paint his sadness with a warm light.
