The brighter and more diverse the work, the more interesting it is. Following this rule, German artist Catherine Welz-Stein (Catrin Welz-Stein) combines incompatible things. Her works are an amazing symbiosis of children’s fairy tales, mysteriously mystical short stories, old illustrations, time-battered photographs and postcards found by chance somewhere in the attic, and, perhaps, at the flea market.
